Biography
Paper Moonshine offers an eclectic mix of gypsy jazz, bluegrass, and Americana, based out of Boulder, CO. Influenced by Django Reinhardt, Bela Fleck, Bob Dylan, and the Devil Makes Three, their dynamic original music and unique take on traditional songs combine virtuosity with dance-able rhythms. All four band members are featured vocally, singing music from multiple eras.
Paper Moonshine has been performing fun and thrilling stage shows since 2015 on stages like the Evergreen Bluegrass Festival, the Rocky Mountain Guild for the Fine Arts at Estes Park, and the second Thursday of every month at the Laughing Goat in Boulder.
In 2017, the current lineup of Paper Moonshine was formed with bassist Joe Kasprzyk and drummer Steve Lach joining original members Nick Einterz and Ben Livneh. They released singles in 2019 and 2020, and they continue to write and release original music and perform around the Front Range.
Paper Moonshine, the group's first EP released in 2015, featured former vocalist Maggie Tharp and bassist Owen Tharp together with current guitarist Ben Livneh and banjo player Nick Einterz. Drummer Joe Hecker was also in featured at that time.

We are available for gigs small and large around the Front Range of Colorado, able to provide a high quality sound system for our gig with years of mixing experience. We have a diverse setlist (one fan said "you play all the genres") and are available for private parties and weddings.
